Every Day Free – But Never Cheap!
Exclusively for RapidWeaver users • only free and low-cost stuff

Another RapidWeaver blog

Yes, it's true: one more blog about our favorite web site building application for MacOSX. But this one is a little different. It started back in 2011 as a blog focusing solely on free and low-cost stuff for (producing a web site with) RapidWeaver: themes, tools, tips, tricks, anything, as long as it was free – or low-cost.
Over time, the Stacks plugin became more popular, and coding yourself was no longer an option for many people, so I started to develop my own stacks in the spirit of the blog: free (well, actually pay-what-you-want) and low-cost.
This blog evolved with it, and is now primarily about those new stacks, although from time to time I will post about other free and low-cost stuff for RapidWeaver.

Do you know something free (or low-cost) & useful related to RapidWeaver not mentioned here? Have a suggestion for a subject to write about here or for a new stack?
Tips, questions and remarks are always welcomed.
Just and help to expand this little blog!

New #23: RapidLorem Stack

Prototyping a new site and tired of manually copying and pasting Lorem ipsum dolor etc. over and over again? Tired of that boring Lorem ipsum dolor etc. anyway? Well, I was, so I decided to develop a stack to make this much easier – and less boring.

The result: the RapidLorem stack. With this stack you can easily create placeholder text (almost) anywhere on your page. Just type a short code like @1p@ and this stack will automatically insert words, sentences and paragraphs of filler text for you.

Variety is the spice of life, so beside the classic Lorem ipsum dolor you can now choose for one of the seven alternatives included in this stack:

  • Veggie Ipsum (especially for vegetarians)
  • Tuna Ipsum (pescotarians will love it)
  • Bacon Ipsum (for the carnivores among you)
  • Cupcake Ipsum (for those with a sweet tooth)
  • Hipster Ipsum (no need to explain)
  • Baseball Ipsum (for sport enthusiasts)

There are lots of options in this stack, and they’re all covered on the product page where you will also find a lot of examples.
