Every Day Free – But Never Cheap!
Exclusively for RapidWeaver users • only free and low-cost stuff

Another RapidWeaver blog

Yes, it's true: one more blog about our favorite web site building application for MacOSX. But this one is a little different. It started back in 2011 as a blog focusing solely on free and low-cost stuff for (producing a web site with) RapidWeaver: themes, tools, tips, tricks, anything, as long as it was free – or low-cost.
Over time, the Stacks plugin became more popular, and coding yourself was no longer an option for many people, so I started to develop my own stacks in the spirit of the blog: free (well, actually pay-what-you-want) and low-cost.
This blog evolved with it, and is now primarily about those new stacks, although from time to time I will post about other free and low-cost stuff for RapidWeaver.

Do you know something free (or low-cost) & useful related to RapidWeaver not mentioned here? Have a suggestion for a subject to write about here or for a new stack?
Tips, questions and remarks are always welcomed.

New #46 & 47: Morphext and Morphist Stacks

I have the impression that 2015 was the year when animation on websites became mature. Deservedly so: nothing beats animation when it comes to drawing attention on a webpage; and when it's done with taste and moderation, it's a useful addition that can be very functional. Now 2015 is reaching its end, I introduce two stacks that use animation in a flexible way and don’t require heavy scripts that put a burden on the page loading time.

The Morphist stack makes it possible to rotate pieces of content (any content!), one after the other with cool CSS3 animations. Awesome for making sliders, slideshows, carousels, rotating banners, quote rotators and other content you want to rotate.

The Morphext stack is a more simple stack that rotates (inline) text only, but with the same array of animations. Awesome for displaying eye catching texts like testimonies, quotes, etc. The Morphext stack also shines on splash pages (example).

Both stacks share the same 43(!) effects which can all be previewed on their product pages, so that’s the place to be for all the details and inspiration…

Can’t decide which stack is best for you? Don’t worry: when you buy both the Morphist stack and the Morphext stack you will save 25%!
